The need for admission will be explained to the patient and the attendant by the consultant. If agreed upon by the patient and attendant, they will be guided by the Auxilliary Nursing Aide to the reception/admission counter for completion of admission procedure.
The IP numbers will be assigned by the receptionist and the staff of OPD will reach the patient to the respective ward. The patient who deserves concession (in General ward) will be seen by Ward In charge Nurse, who will direct them to the social worker. Concession will be given only for the deserving patients upon the approval by the Director/Administrator.

The nurse in the ward will orient the patients to the ward, ward routines and the general rules and regulatrions.
The advance amount will be collected on the day of admission. Inpatients are advised to clear weekly bill to reduce the burden of paying the same at the time of discharge.
Only one attendant is permitted to stay with the patient. Pass will be provided to the attendant staying with the patient.
Visiting time: 6.00 am to 9.00 am, 12.00 pm to 2.00 pm 4.00 m to 8.00 pm
DISCHARGE PROCEDURE
Once the decision for discharge is conveyed by the doctor, the nurse shall verify the medical record for discharge order. The discharge medicines will be ordered and follow up appointment will be booked.
Unused medicines will be returned to the pharmacy. Medical record will be sent for billing. Once the bill is ready, attendant will be directed to the cash counter.
Upon producing the receipt of the bill paid, nurse shall endorse the discharge summary, medicines, reports of investigation, follow up appointment and will advise on home management.
CASUALTY
Services are available 24 hours a day. Laboratory, TMT, EEG, ECG, USG, X-ray, CT and MRI scan services are available close to the emergency room.
Emergency room is equipped with stabilization rooms, for short stay admissions and day care services
Labour room, NICU, PICU are adjacent to emergency room.
Pediatric and adult patients, presenting with trauma, medical, surgical and obstetric emergencies are seen in Casualty. Patients presented to hospital facility for non urgent treatment after OPD hours are also welcomed for treatment in casualty.
As soon as the patient arrives at the entrance, the nurse will assist the patient to get shifted to casualty by wheelchair or stretcher.
Patient is attended to, by the Resident Medical Officer and the nurse immediately. The consultant examines the casualty shortly and decides about admission/discharge/transfer. Minor emergencies are treated in the minor OT of emrgency room. Hospital ambulance services are available for patients whenever required
